Joseph Sumekh was born in Iran, where he lived until age 18 before moving to Oklahoma, where he received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering.
 

From a young age, Joseph felt an unsettling gap between the teachings he heard at schools and temples, versus how he saw grown-ups actually behave in the "real world." Even at home, the recurring dramatic arguments between his caring, loving parents were a painful reminder of this gap!
 

The wisdom he shares is the nectar of the life of a devoted seeker and student of the works of our most honored teachers and sages in the fields of spirituality, mysticism, and psychology, as well as powerful recent findings in biology, brain science, quantum physics and more. He then uses his engineering approach to demystify, and brings it all within practical reach.
 

Joseph now lives in Southern California with his lovely wife and their rambunctious dog, Olive. He has three amazing adult children and enjoys hobbies like Zumba, swimming, and Aikido.
